Mr. King Chinese - Crystal River

While traveling, my son chose a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Coming from North Jersey, I was skeptical about finding good Chinese food along the Gulf Coast.

Upon sitting down, we were served a bowl of fried noodles with sweet and sour sauce or mustard for dipping. I ordered the General Tso's chicken with egg drop soup on the side, choosing a spicy level for the chicken. My son ordered chicken lo mein and an egg roll. The portion sizes were decent and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. The General Tso's chicken had a unique twist with sugar snap peas, sliced carrots, mushrooms, and baby corn instead of the traditional broccoli. We opted for steamed white rice over fried rice. The food was served hot and fresh, providing a tasty meal that was also affordable. The spacious dining room had plenty of seating options for us to choose from. Overall, I was initially unsure about trying Chinese food in this area but I'm glad we did. It turned out to be a great meal. To top it off, we enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake mousse dessert at the end of our dinner.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. You can order online and then simply pull up to the pick-up window to grab your food. It is very convenient, with excellent quality and great pricing.

Their food is so fresh and delicious and it's ready quickly. They have a drive thru to make it nice and easy to get takeout too.

Went here on a rainy afternoon last week for lunch...it was pretty busy in there and I was seated and approached by the server right away...I placed my order for the lunch special and ordered the Chicken Chow Mein. The portion was very generous and it arrived hot and so fresh..it came with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon and also a delicious cup of Won Ton soup. You can choose this soup for a .25 charge instead of the Egg Drop which is not a soup I care for..service was quick and efficient, she did a fantastic job taking care of the whole Restaurant...
