Richard Walker's - Crystal Lake

The outdoor seating is quite lovely, complete with umbrellas for shade. However, I would recommend adding a fence or barrier between the outdoor tables and the busy vehicle exit, as it's possible for a small child to walk just a few steps into the street. On a positive note, the food was excellent, and the waitstaff was friendly and kept a close eye on our water and coffee refills!

This restaurant is fantastic! We've been several times and are absolutely hooked on the Dutch pancakes. The menu claims they take 20 minutes to prepare, but ours seem to come out even quicker. My personal favorite is the Dutch Harvest, which is savory and packed with cheese, onions, tomatoes, and broccoli. It's definitely a must-try!

I enjoyed outstanding service, delectable food, and fantastic coffee. What more could anyone want? I’m definitely planning to return on Sunday. It was busier than it was when we left at 10 a.m., but we didn’t have to wait at all. The apple cake is incredible!

We have been coming here for years and always enjoy the friendly, customer-focused staff, the peaceful ambiance (complete with pleasant, soft music), and of course, the fantastic breakfast selections. The Dutch Baby is a classic apple pancake, and the omelets are excellent, along with the crepes and waffles. Thank you to the RWPH team in Crystal Lake for another wonderful visit!

We have been dining at this restaurant for several years, long before the pandemic. They have consistently maintained a high standard of food and service. Today, they continue to serve an exceptional breakfast that is truly unparalleled.
