Las Canadas Mexican - Crystal City

Here we were looking. We hadn't found a really good Mexican restaurant since we moved back to the area. That's it. The Horchata was our first clue. Everything tasted very authentic. The waiting staff was also great. We're definitely going back.

Taco Tuesday was great. I thought the hard tacos were good until I tried the soft shell tacos that were even better. Service was amazing. The owner greeted us at the door, came to the table and spoke to us as we checked out. Waitress was super attentive and food arrived very quickly. Will definitely be back!!

Food was excellent, service was great, with a clean and friendly atmosphere. It's the best Mexican restaurant where we were. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.

Stopped in yesterday for a couple of tamales with Verde sauce. Best I've had out in a long time. Friendly people, cold beer and good food at a reasonable price. The place was very well kept too. Bathrooms and dining area were very clean. I look forward to going again and checking out more of the menu.

We were on Saturday. We first sat at a table that was so crisp that we sat at another. We ordered both Enchiladas. Mine was hardly warm and the tortilla was so hard I could hardly cut it with my fork and the sauce was very watery. Even our chips that came with the salsa were boiled. As our first time since the opening, we wanted to try them out. Unfortunately, we won't be back. Very disappointed!
