Lam's Garden - Crystal City

Nothing has been the same here for well over a year now. I grew up in Festus and have always loved Lams Garden. Something has changed, and it's definitely not for the better. When I tried to talk with the staff about the red, raw looking meat and black spots all over the cabbage, they wanted to debate and justify and refused to give me a refund. They are no longer about satisfying customers. The food is nasty these days and I would definitely discourage anyone I know from spending a dime here, EVER.

The owner is so nice!! She remembers you and is always so friendly. It's our favorite Chinese place to eat!

This was the WORST Chinese food we have ever had. Everything was so bland and soggy. Definitely not made fresh, at least by the way it looks and taste. It all had such a weird smell, before and after taste. We spent over $35 for food we barely touched.Never again.

Recently visited this restaurant for the first time. My husband hates buffets so this fit the bill. I am a vegetarian so was happy with so many options. My lomein was good, not the best I've ever had, but the Crab Rangoon was! My husband only eats sweet and sour chicken and he could not have been happier with his meal. Big chunks of white meat chicken instead of the indescribable chicken pieces he's had at other restaurants. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes! The owner stopped by our table and was so nice and friendly. It was so refreshing.

I ordered takeout, and it was mediocre. They were pleasant enough on the phone but the delivery driver was in such a hurry he/she didn't even get their tip I was getting from my purse.
