Piyada Thai - Croydon North

I find their prices to be relatively lower than most Thai restaurants in the area. I tried the stir-fry with basil, pad thai, and pineapple fried rice. The fried rice and stir-fry were excellent; I loved the flavor and the sauce in the stir-fry. However, I must mention that the portion size for the stir-fry is a bit small. They are quite generous with the meat and seafood, though. The pad thai was a bit different from what I expected and wasn't to my taste; it seemed like they used a different type of sauce or seasoning. Overall, I was very pleased with my dinner, but I probably won't order the pad thai again.

I discovered another fantastic restaurant that offers delicious Thai food. The dishes are packed with authentic Thai flavors and spices, and the portion sizes are generous, with plenty of protein. Plus, they provide free roti bread!

This charming little Thai restaurant never fails to impress! The staff is friendly, and the ingredients are always very fresh. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable! The chicken Pad Thai is fantastic, and all the curries are excellent as well!

After a long day at the cricket yesterday cooking wasn’t on the agenda so we tried to call for Thai takeaway but our original choice was closed for the Christmas break. I ended up phoning Piyada Thai and I heard such a ruckus at the other end of the line I thought this place must be good as it’s clearly packed to the rafters. <br/ <br/ Hubby almost went to the wrong spot for pickup as there are actually three restaurants in this chain (and I had inadvertently called one that was further away but couldn’t be bothered calling back to cancel given how noisy it was in there). Incidentally the woman kept repeating my ordered to me of prawn pad see ew as king prawn pad see ew and when I opened the container I understood why.<br/ <br/ This was a seriously impressive dish. None of those tiny shrimp you often receive in a prawn noodle dish these were proper juicy plump prawns perfectly cooked and seven of them no less. The flavour of this was absolutely spot on too. My husbands choice was chicken pad Thai which he was also very pleased with. We have definitely found our new go to

Good quality, pretty speedy and reasonably priced Thai. Always my “go to” local. Nice for a sit down dinner but always as nice and fresh take away. <br/
