The Oval Tavern - Croydon

I had last weeks my 40th birthday party at the owal tavern and I can't thank ester and the team enough. they were so friendly and accommodating and we all had a fabulous time. we took over the garden, which is a beautiful room, and the bbq eating and salads were plentiful, delicious and excellent. around 11 o'clock we moved in with our dj and carried on with the friendly locals until the pub closed. I had such a great time, it was exactly what I wanted, and it was all delivered efficiently with great service, no excitement and at a very reasonable price. I can't recommend this place enough.

Had a fantastic night for the 40. friendly staff of my wife, good amount and a well prepared buffet. we have been happy with an excellent Americana music that was just up. I always like the owal and would highly recommend giving him a visit in croydon. thanks again young for an unforgettable evening!

Here sat on the recommendation of my family and enjoyed it properly. eating (I had a frying dinner) was absolutely Gaw-Jus! the staff was very attentive and very polite and cheerful! the pub itself has a great ambiente and I would recommend to everyone.

Sandwiches served with bratkartoffeln on the side, charming pub with gorgeous garden, very friendly staff and a first class jazz band on a Sunday afternoon....a simple 5/5 for the owal tavern after my visit today!

Great Landlady, who engages with the community and is keen to support community/external causes. Excellent; knowledgeable and friendly staff. Tasty/varied food menu and a constantly updated selection of Real Ale's. Outstanding music venue a wide variety of quality acts local and otherwise. A large outdoor beer garden, inclusive of BBQ facilities and a stage for outdoor performances. Well maintained/recently re modelled toilet facilities. This is Croydon's most welcoming/fun pub pure entertainment in every sense.
