The restaurant is pretty big and has many tables so it’s pretty easy to find one. The menu is long and has many options. However, if you are Spanish or looking to taste authentic Spanish cuisine this isn’t really your place we felt like food is more adapted to the British taste (garlic prawns weren’t garlicky at all, ali oli wasn’t authentic, more like garlic mayo and so on . Chicken croquettes were nice but lacking bechamel sauce, felt more like chicken nuggets rather than a creamy spanish croquette. The potatoes omelette was a bit dull and they didn’t even ask if we wanted it runnier or well done (as a Spanish person, I like it quite runny . Calamares a la romana (calamari were also quite dull, the batter wasn’t great. Oysters were delicious though. We also waited for the food for nearly 50/55 minutes it was a Saturday night around 8ish pm but we would’ve appreciated being informed of the waiting time by the waitresses. It’s not a bad restaurant at all and it’s definitely worth it to give it a go but please take this as a constructive opinion coming from Spanish people so you can improve some bits :
From the beginning, the restaurant seemed nice, with two parties present. Despite the apparent stress the staff were under, I understand that it can be challenging. However, the food was terrible. How can a grey steak be served and then claimed to be fine? Bluebottles and fruit flies were everywhere; I spent more time shooing flies away from our food than actually eating. The food was bland and tasteless, with prawns still containing their intestines. We were told this is how it is done in Galicia, but I find it hard to believe. Do they really serve fecal matter to customers? Someone please confirm this. After we complained about the food, the male waiter was rude (despite me apologizing and stating that I didn't mean to be rude). To top it off, I now have stomach cramps and have been in and out of the toilet at least 5 times. Giving this restaurant one star is being generous.
Good service and menu choices but the quality of food was mediocre. Ask the price of Sangria before ordering a small jug of Sangria was £20!
Haven’t been for ages ! Busy Friday night service but they fitted us in. Friendly staff . Good sized portions . Favs include tuna salad , monkfish kebab rice stuffed mushrooms with spinach. We ordered 9 dishes between 4 of us . Plenty ! Great to be back :
