Domino's Pizza - Croydon

I have been a loyal customer of Croydon Central for some time now. This evening, the delivery driver was exceptional, as always, and extremely polite. I always make sure to tip generously as I understand that their job is not always easy. However, I had to contact the restaurant branch twice, and the attitude of the person I spoke to was disappointing. I explained that the food would arrive cold as it had been sitting out for a while, as they deliver to multiple locations. Unfortunately, he did not listen and when I mentioned that the food was not hot, he simply insisted it was not cold and offered a refund. While a refund is appreciated, what I really wanted was a genuine apology and some effort to improve the service. The driver was excellent, but the individual at the restaurant lacked in customer service skills and did not seem concerned about customer satisfaction. The drivers truly deserve praise for their outstanding service.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that picking up my pizza from the restaurant was much more affordable than having it delivered. While a delivered pizza would have cost me over £20, I paid just over £10 when I picked it up myself. I decided on a pizza that was half cheese and tomato, and half BBQ with vegetables. It was delicious, and I have no complaints about the food.

I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. The delivery was fast, with my order arriving within 20 minutes, and the pizza was fantastic. The balance of cheese, sauce, and crust was perfect, and the flavors were amazing. I particularly loved the crust. The garlic bread wasn't my favorite, as I prefer the traditional sliced baguette over the mini garlic pizzas that many delivery places offer now. The coleslaw was also very tasty. I would definitely order from this restaurant again.

I have ordered from this place 5 times now, my 2nd order was not the best (ingredients missing) but from then on esp my last order came real quick and was still piping hot.

We collected two pizzas. When we got home, we discovered that one pizza was someone else's order and the other was cold and had absolutely no base on it whatsoever, making it dry and unpalatable. As we didn't feel like going back out again, we telephoned to request a delivery of the correct items, but they refused to make reparation and made no apology whatsoever for their mistakes. AVOID.
