Chathouse Tandoori - Croydon

We didn't make a reservation but were seated without any issues at 9pm on a Thursday night. The staff were friendly, attentive, and excellent with children. The food was outstanding - each dish was full of flavor, delicious, and generous portions. This was the best curry we have had in years!

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is great, and the food and beer on tap are excellent. I tried the chicken masala and it was fantastic.

After a long day of DIY at our daughter's new house, we decided last minute to go out for Indian food. Not familiar with the area, we took a chance on the Chathouse. We arrived at 8pm on a Friday evening to find a large restaurant with only one table occupied, which initially concerned us. However, we were warmly welcomed and had a great meal. The service was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was well decorated, bright, and clean. We would not hesitate to visit again when we are back in Croydon.

We have ordered here several times and always been good. Not on this occasion ordered on line for delivery was told an hour it was well late nearly two hours when it came it was cold was promised it would be replaced with in 20 mins still no curry and 30pds spent its now 9 o'clock and still not here taken the first curry back. I'm so disappointed as normal very good so no stars and will never order from them agian and not even a apologise very poor service.
