We also shared a very rich and dense brownie, far too sweet for my preference.<br/ Previous review <br/ I've only had cakes from La Baguette, the Opera and the Success. Both were very rich and dense. The Opera was the sweeter of the two, with a hazelnut and chocolate profile while the Success was a sinful creation of thick ganache sandwiching layers of chocolate cake. The cakes are probably not as refined as those from Lindt or La Renaissance but still delicious.
L A B A G U E T T EWOW! One of everything please! Handmade and made with love, La Baguette sell some delicious pastries like the chocolate and caramel éclair. @foodiesguidetosydney
The French baguettes roll is to die for and really good coffee the pre-made sandwiches and rolls a very nice they have great desserts. It does get busy here and not a lot of seating. The staff are nice but not super friendly. Can be tiff to get a car park .
Very popular with crowie native and people working in the opposite. the line up to a coffee on the morning is down on the road! big French brot (definitiw the best in the opposite) and beautiful cakes and baked. they also have takeaway sandwiches and rolls at midday, which are very good. no high chairs, but space to roll in with the child's car.
Small terrace series with the steady steam of the people come out on Saturday morning. fortunate I was able to nab a table to enjoy a few coffees a couple of baked. my mix of small baked varieties were all great, choc croissant, simple croissant strawberry danish, all had crispy baked. not too buttery, but only enough to not be dried. the coffees were also good.
