Honey & Co. - Crows Nest

All of the reviews for this restaurant on Zomato are either 5-star or 1-star from occasional users. I can confidently say that the restaurant falls somewhere in between. When I went for brunch on Saturday, it wasn't overly busy but there were other diners at nearby tables. Unfortunately, my French toast was disappointing. It was overly crispy and seemed to be deep-fried and shaped like a block, more reminiscent of a fried donut. The inside was tough to chew and I couldn't finish it. The service and coffee were average.

I visited this restaurant with friends and family recently and was impressed by the potential it has with new management. I think it would benefit from having a theme other than just being a cafe, and the ambiance and lighting could be improved compared to other nearby shops. The menu could also use a revamp - I'd like to see more interesting specials and less text on the menu. The staff were very professional, especially the middle-aged person who draws the chalkboard menus. Overall, it has the makings of a great dining experience and I would definitely return once these issues are addressed.

What a wonderful cafe! We dropped by last Sunday for our dad's birthday lunch and thought it was the most interesting joint we could find on the street. Apart from some very cute children having babycinos, the venue was very pleasant with beautiful daffodils on the tables and an interesting artwork behind the counter. I thought the lighting could have been a bit brighter but appreciated the elegance that comes with intimate lighting. We heard that the place was under new management and with a new menu. French toast for days. How thick is the dead guy here? it was so delicious and the maple syrup, the fruits and the custard filling were the ultimate breakfast look. in any case have to eat! the peanut butter smoothie also went a tasty, ice cream galore.

All previous reviews of this place on zom are either 5’s or 1’s from very occasional users. I can definitely say that the place was neither of the extremes. on Saturday to brunch, it was not super busy, but there were some other tables of diners. my crisp French toast was a bit under-par. crunchy proves to be deep fried, shaped in a long block, it was more like a fried donut, a bit hard chew inside, I couldn't finish it. the service coffee was okay.
