Herald Harbor Hideaway - Crownsville

I ordered a large sausage pizza with extra cheese, as this was my second time doing so after the previous pizzas were lacking in cheese. However, once again, I paid for extra cheese, and it barely reached the edges or the center—it's a strange take on what "extra cheese" should be. On a positive note, the bartender was really friendly.

Had the pizza rolls, fresh, delicious. The blt had a ton of bacon. Cheesesteak sandwich looked glorious. And they have tots!!!

My last review was about two years ago, so I thought it was time for an update. Herald Harbor Hideaway is a cozy, hidden dive bar that truly stands out. They serve what has to be Maryland’s most delicious sausage and pepperoni calzone, along with an amazing orange crush. Amanda and Logan are the best bartenders and servers—friendly and always attentive to their customers. They often host karaoke or have a DJ, which adds a lot of fun to the experience. I’m really looking forward to celebrating my birthday at the Hideaway after seeing how much fun Amanda created for a group of friends just last week.

Do not go if you want your personal items stolen by the staff.

This is a fantastic place for locals to enjoy a drink and a laid-back meal. The pizza and burgers are excellent, and the menu offers a wide variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. The relaxed atmosphere and manageable noise level allow for easy conversation with your dining companions. It's a fun spot to eat and unwind!
