I needed a last-minute anniversary cake, and this bakery was very accommodating. They delivered the decoration I wanted, and the cake was ready on time. However, my main concern was the taste. The cake was quite bland and dry. I'm not sure if giving only two days' notice was too short of a timeframe. Additionally, the frosting had a somewhat hard texture.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. This bakery was wonderful to work with! They delivered in a timely matter all thw way from Crown Point to Michigan City and was the most reasonably priced caterer.

They always meet my needs, even with last-minute orders. The cakes and cookies are consistently beautiful and delicious. I truly enjoy collaborating with them; it's always a delightful experience!

We chose Sweet Retreat for our wedding desserts, and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the cake pops and cupcakes were. Due to COVID, we had to change our wedding plans and didn’t contact Sweet Retreat until just a week before our big day. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate our last-minute order and delivered everything to the venue on time. One thing to keep in mind is that orders and communication are managed through Facebook Messenger.
