Tatte Bakery Cafe South End - Crossing

Very cute and cozy cafe. I love the bar style set up, and multiple seating options. The food menu is diverse with healthy and delicious options! Slightly pricey but the aesthetic makes you feel a bit better about the cost.

The tomato soup(depend on the soup that day) is extremely authentic and tasty. They should banned the goat parmesan cheese(I can feel the goat is still alive, way to gamy) in corn zucchini and potato bowl. The avocado tartines is too sour, which is easily to get bored. The server didn’t clean the table, so we have to clean it ourselves, but I can understand their situation, it’s rush hour.

Excellent atmosphere. Phenomenal place to work and relax and have coffee with friends. We got a latte which was only okay. And the salad was really good at first, but it became too saucy and flavorful after only a few bites. I suspect the bread and sandwiches and baked goods are much better overall.

I was super disappointed with my only visit to Tatte: the menu looks amazing with close to a dozen wonderful-looking vegetarian bowls and breakfast items! However, they wouldn't prepare a single one of them with the eggs cooked any more well done than soft/runny, which doesn't seem very inclusive for pregnant people or people with compromised immune systems. Every employee had clearly been trained to say that they weren't allowed to cook the eggs longer, and no one wanted to help me problem-solve. I ended up with Greek yogurt and granola that was fine, but not as beautiful looking as the bowls and other items.
