Carlo's Cucina Italiana - Crossing

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and they always give me excellent service, the food is always delicious.

Had a very unpleasant experience at the place. After we explicitly said no pork in any food the waitress recommended sth with pork. Only found out after consuming most of the food. Such a distress, mentally and physically. And another waitress was saying things like “oh everybody makes mistakes. Come on, she’s already taking that off the bill.” As if we were just being mad for money’s sake? Didn’t end up paying but felt like this place is unprofessional.

What a fantastic dinner I had for my one and only night in Boston. I only wish I was staying longer so I could enjoy other entrees on their very good selection of Italian dishes. Each one of us were very satisfied with our plates and the delicious flavors that they were. It may be small and the tables perhaps a little too close to each other and it was crowded to say the least but none of that mattered because the service was so good and they were so very attentive, especially my waiter Louie who gets five stars from us. I will definitely return to try some more of their delicious menu. Thank you very much
