Bogie's Place - Crossing

The desert, campfire brownies, was merely good. That was the ONLY quibble of the evening. Ambiance? Impeccably glamorous, down to the textured walls, but still a bit cheeky and fun due to the speakeasy style entrance. Cocktails? Complex, interesting, and strong Bijou, SVD, Espresso Martini, and Irish Coffee were all on point. Service? Attentive without being overbearing, team service at it's best. Steaks? Both the Ribeye and NY strip were perfectly cooked and meltingly delicious, enhanced by the herbed butter served on top and the house demiglace. Bone marrow? Just perfect, the onion jam is the right counterpoint to its richness. Mac and Cheese? On point. Bread and butter? The butter... how do they make something as simple as seasoned whipped butter this magical... who cares, they just do, just eat it. It's not a cheap dinner but isn't at all overpriced for what it is. This place is a gem, you should make a reservation today.

One of the coolest places I have been to have dinner!!! The host that brought us to the restaurant was amazing he beyond friendly and a good sense of humor seeing how when i went to walk out of the bathroom and the coat rack had fallen over infront of the door thought I was locked in ?????. The food was absolutely mouth watering!!! If you haven’t been GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Usually I don’t like to say anything bad about a place, but this was a total disappointment.Since this place has such high prices, I’d also expect it to have high standards, but what we got was a very salted filet mignon, a non salted or at least peppered salmon which had a very odd smell and flavor, a very warm red wine instead of a chill one, poor cleaned glasses and tired of this life knives, all of this for prices even higher than at the Gordon Ramsay’s place. So, even though we had big hopes about the food and the intimate place, it felt more like a box separated from the main restaurant. And the food was more than disappointing, especially in ratio with the prices. We were not asked even once if we like the food or if everything was alright with it, since I guess the waitresses saw everything on our faces, but still. Our evening ruined, so I wouldn’t recommend anyone this place. I’m sorry to leave this feedback, but it is the truth. Thanks,

Jeremy was amazing. Made the experience very enjoyable, impressive drinks, very comfortable and casual environment. Would definitely recommend.

The service, ambience and the Tomahawk Steak were amazing! There are only about five tables and service feels personal. The cocktails are also quite good! We weren't blown away by the duck fat roasted potatoes or the beignets, however this wouldn't stop us from visiting again when in Boston!
