Aj's Diner - Crossgar

The mixed grills were fantastic, and the garlic mushrooms were the largest I've ever seen! Unfortunately, the bounty cheesecake listed on the specials board was sold out by the time we ordered, and most of the desserts weren't suitable for nut allergies. However, I would definitely return just for those delicious, enormous mushrooms!

The vegetarian fry and sticky toffee pudding were both absolutely delicious. The restaurant has always been consistent with its quality and flavors. Although I usually stick to their amazing fish, I decided to try the fry this time, and it was a great choice. It was early in the morning, but they were ready to serve me, which I really appreciated. I was very satisfied with my meal, but I must say, I always enjoy their fish, so don’t miss out on that!

The restaurant is beautiful and offers a great selection of dishes. While there are vegetarian options available, they tend to be quite rich in butter. I ordered the cod and chips, which were light and crispy—absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed his meal as well. The sticky toffee pudding was decent, but not outstanding.

Just love this place staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice atmosphere, beautiful inside, lovely decor. Food well presented Price for food soft drinks are not over priced. I have visited this place several times since.

This is a nice café diner that has a loyal following of regular customers. Staff are friendly and attentive, food is good quality and plates are always full. However, one of our meals was a little fatty (Roast Beef) and the menus were covered in soap residue. Not a big issue but probably not what you would want in the current times... Overall a great place for lunch or a casual dinner.
