Our House Texas - Crosby

This is by FAR my absolute favorite place in or near Crosby. The food is 5star quality, all freshly prepared by the amazing Chef (Chef Karen) that , I believe is half owner. She is a world class chef that has chosen to grace our little community with a menu fit for the finest palette. She makes something as common as meatloaf , a gourmet dish. Even the chicken salad would not be out of place in Tiffany's tea room. Everything is made fresh , including the fabulous honey vinaigrette dressing made in house. Save room for the beignets bread pudding that makes New Orleans jealous. Combine all that with reasonable prices and super friendly home-like service THE BEST PLACE AROUND!!!!!

Lovely owners. Small town feel with delicious options! Very gracious hosts… we walked in with a HUGE party after a family funeral and they accommodated us right away

First time to try this restaurant. Noon Wednesday. I had today's special, Shepard's Pie and a side salad. Portion size was just right for me .. not a heavy eater. The salad was fresh and made with a mix of greens, (which is a plus for me and included the usual toppings. The Shepard's Pie was served HOT .. another big plus to me, and was delicious. My waitress was sweet and attentive. I will surely return to taste more of their offerings.

Tried several different things at Our House Texas and the seafood tasted old snd very strong tasting. Told the waitress and she went and brought back management to talk with us and asked us again to explain what was wrong with the food. We felt like they were trying to call us liars and did not believe us. They definitely don’t know what customer service is because the way they treated us showed it! Will never go back there again!Posting a pic we took of their menu when we was there to prove we did go there.

Came here after I saw Google review with my buddies. And don't let the place quite odd New Orleans decorations fool you. This place was GREAT!!! The service was friendly and warm. The Chief came out to say high and was very friendly. This is a must try place if you travel thru or live in Crosby TX!!!
