The Exchequer - Crookham Village

A decent pub with a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and good eating. I would have preferred the possibility of a good rump or Sirloin steak instead of the minute steak or overpriced rib eye £31.50) on the menu. Drinks are a little expensive to ale, £4.50), though about the same as other similar places.

I had a pleasant lunch at the restaurant. The food was good, and the roast was delicious. However, the lemon tart was a bit bland. It could have been warmer inside the pub, as it felt quite cold. On a positive note, all the staff members were very friendly. I was told that they keep the heating off because it tends to get hot, but I found it a bit too chilly during my visit.

Great selection of craft beers and lagers, along with a wonderful venue and garden. Being located right by the canal also makes it a perfect spot for a lovely day out!

Great food but price is a liltle steep. Good selection of beers too!
