Stalwart Steak House - Crockett

Was the best steak dinner for all three of us. The service was wonderful. A very beautiful place. Everyone who served the customer was very attentive to the table. I don't have to ask. The server always had a big smile. Has good to the chef and the owner and to the staff to enjoy the evening with your family and friends Thanks for a great night. I'll drive from Houston to Crockett for two hours to eat again. The owner greeted us at the door, and although we were close to the closing time, we never felt rushed to go, but they gave us a warm welcome and mouthwater food. By recommendation of our server, I ordered the fillet that was cooked for perfection, with one side of the most amazing pickled sweet potatoes and asparagus and warm bread at the table. I also wanted to try the roasted potatoes so that the server brought me a side of it and man, it was worth every bite, although it was already more than enough food. My friends ordered the 12 Oz Ribeye and said just amazing things about it. Cherries above this amazing dinner was Peach Kicker for Dessert, which I had to take home, but had another bite of it while still warm. The only thing I regret is not a photo of the food to show you the great presentation of the plate, just another reason to go back and enjoy a good time with Mrs Margaret and her exceptional and friendly staff. Come and celebrate a special occasion to bring a bottle of your favorite wine to couple this delicious steak menu and make your weekend night unforgettable.

I had the 14 or 16 ounces of steak. Med rare. In my opinion, a little longer and less fat must be marinated on the cut. But it's pretty bad. Fast friendly service especially for the area

Quality restaurant, simple menu, a little pricey, but you get a great product for the money.
