During my tenth visit to Downstairs, I was offered crackers and cheeses and felt incredibly welcome. MJ is a wonderful hostess and for the first time I felt like family.

I think the best place in the city for drinks. The little town bars are my favorite. You serve a good breakfast at weekends from a good boss named Ricky. He also makes good Mexican food on Monday night. On Tuesday they opened the Mic night and a woman named Karly (who is also a good cook) has begun to cook a few things for this night.

This is a local dive bar for Crockett. The people there are all very friendly, from the staff to the clients. There are many TVs so that you can watch whatever sports games are on. When the local teams are playing, you can hear cheers and tears as they play. On Monday nights they have Mexican Mondays where they have a great menu with large portions. Family are welcome. Yum Wednesdays are steak and chicken nights. With great food and large portions, it is a good deal for the price. Families are welcome too. Thursdays are free lunch days. The only hitch is that you have to buy a drink. lol p.s. don't ask for a double, they already pour heavy. :

It's a perfect dive bar that's practically across the street from my home. All the bartenders are super friendly and serve a great pour.
