Hippopotamus - Créteil

Had to wait in line, though restaurant had an empty area. Waited to long for the burgers, that we ordered. Waiters don't know english. Food was good.

Menu choice was good and quality of food was very impressive. The cuts of meat were above what you'd expect of a fast food chain and a modest price too. Would definitely recommend.

As usual ordered a 5th avenue bacon burger which was great and We ordered a tartare we had a problem with that and it didn't taste good but the manager directly changed it and got us a new platter which was even better that the first. I recommend but i wish they add again some appetizers and platters of the old menu

I had last been to this restaurant 3 years ago, and could not wait to take my whole family there. The last time, I had a Hamburger with sauce au poivre, and although it was 25 Euros, it had been the best meat I have ever tasted. My Grandchildren each had a different Burger, but none of them were any better. Staff did not seem to care, either. This time, the price was lower (about 18 Euros), but the quality was very basic dry, and not remotely special. You can get better in Burger King for 6 Euros. I shall not be going back to this chain again.

Chaîne de qualité honorable : la carte est variée et il est possible de manger rapidement et pour pas très cher grâce à leurs différentes formules. Bon ce n'est pas de la haute gastronomie mais ce n'est pas le but recherché lorsqu'on va dans ce type de restaurant. Dans celui-ci, le service est rapide et agréable.
