Osteria San Marco - Crespano del grappa

Interesting,modern causine.... with a warm .... helpful stuff ... with great smile in their faces Tasty , with very good quality ingredients dishes.... The pasta , tuna fish were great ... excellent pistachio ice cream!!!

I went for dinner alone. ordered for a Prawn Cocktail and a Veal Escalope. My Prawn Cocktail was brought to me, after two mouthfuls I discovered a piece of glass about 2 inches by one inch on the plate, which was covered by salad leaves. I did not want to make a scene, the waitress said she was very sorry and took the plate away. She brought me back a plate where she had put much of the same prawn cocktail, which some extra bit put in. I asked whether it was changed and was safe to eat. She said she was very sorry and she insisted that it was safe. on having the first bit I again discovered a much smaller piece of glass in it. I spit it out and was by then shivering in fear thinking what could have happened to me had I swallowed it. When I called her she gave me the bill for a bottle of water and the the prawn cocktail too. I asked her whether it is fair for her to charge for the cocktail that almost killed me and she pleaded that her owner would make her pay if I did not pay. The people sitting i the next table also did not say a word, listening to this. By then I was too shaken and I paid and left. I later thought about it, and got angrier as I saw her just going about her job as if nothing had happened. I was leaving for the airport in half an hour and could not afford to wait for the owner. I want to warn people off this restaurant, and also reach out to the owners through this text. I dont mind having paid but I do think the owners need to know that the service is really dangerous there. They also need to make sure that such life threatening things go not happen again.

We ate here a few times during our stay in Crespano. It was our go-to place. We also stopped here for drinks, both pre-lunch and pre-dinner. The food was always delicious and plentiful. All the meals we had were wonderful. A great place for authentic and tasty food at reasonable prices. We were always welcomed with a smile. The service was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back.

I studied a year abroad/life in crespano. this is my favorite restaurant! the personal is so friendly and eating is amazing! the location is also perfect directly at the church and they can either sit inside or outside. highly recommended!

Sono con il mio partner e il nostro animale domestico da mesi. piatti strepitosi e abbondanti. il vino spettacolare. la signora della Toscana di un'immensa cordialità. il molto simpatico roberto cucinare così come ovviamente molto buono. per tornare il più presto possibile.
