The ambiente of this hotel is lovely with its glowing fire....but we decided to go takeout/food to our own cozy hotel! eating was tasty, especially the tomato soup. Just what we needed to warm up in an icey night. it was interesting. that they served our food in order, which do not remove container, which of course a few days later back....nice touch :
We did not actually eat in the physical restaurant, but in the bar area. it was the same menu and everyone seemed to eat in the bar instead of the restaurant. Maybe because we both nighted there were cool and rainy and the...bar had a cozy, friendly feeling. as I said, the pizza is good and we have tried various types. also loved the tacos. we found the food options in creel serious lack of quality and this restaurant was a very welcome experience. both nights there was a lot of customers here, while most other places seemed to leave when we came by. do not miss the cultivated microbrauerei (which also offers the restaurant menu) where the actual pizza oven is located. service was friendly and efficient and most server languages English. if they are in creel, they should really visit.
We ate here twice, because our hotel had no wi fi and here had a weak signal, where they at least check and send email, read facebook, post on facebook, and upload a picture high when ready to wait 15 20 minutes until it take. The...pizza was average thin crust, but enjoyed since we missed American food. the vegetarian pizza was delicious with mushrooms, paprika and tomaten and this wonderful Mennonite cheese. everyone enjoyed the chipolte wings. guacamole was huge and great as the queso fondido. Drinks were delicious when they stay one and drink to ask the free odours. service was average, but very friendly. they installed vats to have a home brew pub. the manager was wonderfully friendly, and one night when it began to rain, gave us a ride back to our hotel next door! that reminded me of a kind of sport. there is a more formal restaurant next door that we have never tried to founf this tip to hang very easy.
Advertised, even in guides, as the best pizza in Creel. This might be true, but at the same time this does not mean setting the bar very high. We ordered 3 different kind of pizzas, the most praised one, 3 cheeses, was only OK. Still...it was the best one. Restaurant is supposed to make the pizza in a wooden lit oven. This usually gives the pizza a specific taste. I couldn't taste it at all here. Maybe because we were the first guests, and the fire was not yet properly lit. But if the quality could not be guaranteed, the waiter should not have taken the order.
