Venise Pizza - Cream Ridge

We chose to dine here in search of Mexican cuisine in Jackson. The restaurant had a decent number of customers, which created a nice atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. However, our food took nearly an hour to arrive, but thankfully it was worth the wait – it was delicious! The menu offered a great variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone, and they were accommodating with substitutions. Our waitress was friendly and managed the entire front of the restaurant on her own, making for excellent service. I noticed that the prices I found online before our visit didn't match the current menu, but they were still in line with the typical pricing for Mexican food in the area. Overall, this was a great choice if you're craving good Mexican food!

The food was outstanding, but the wait time was astonishing. We were a group of four and arrived at 6:00 PM. The only waitress on duty took our order at 6:24 PM, and our meals didn’t arrive until 7:28 PM! We only ordered burritos and tacos, nothing overly complicated. There were four other men at a nearby table, and three of them received their food, so I can’t fathom why our order took so long. I had noticed similar complaints in the reviews, so I brought a bottle of wine to help pass the time. They served homemade tortillas with a delicious salsa and kept our bowls refilled while we waited. Everything we ordered was exceptionally tasty, including the flan and cheesecake for dessert. If you can manage the wait, the food is definitely worth it.

This restaurant offers excellent food in a family-friendly atmosphere, making it a great spot for dining out. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the higher side.

Pretty decent, fast, but not much taste. I had to add some salt, salsa tapatia and lemon juice, then it was great. The service is great, they were very nice and accommodating.
