The Terrace Tea Room - Craven

This is a lovely cafe with a very friendly service. I ordered scampi and chips which came with garden peas but such massive portions. It is a shame that they not do a smaller portion as half the food, I was unable to eat and would have been wasted. Absolutely nothing wrong with the food, I hasten to add.

A nice stop off for lunch with plenty of choice, received friendly service and sat out on the terrace as we had the dog with us. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Very convenient and would return if in Skipton again.

This place is fabulous for an afternoon drink and snack. I come in every Friday for the amazing hot chocolates, and sometimes switch it up for a flat white(these are top notch). On the occasions that I’ve come here for food, I’ve been left very much satisfied. I had one of the crispy chicken wraps with chips, the portion was so big I couldn’t even finish it! The lovely tall waitress offered me a box to take it away with me though. Overall a great experience, would 100% recommend.

Another cafe that seems to think that a Flat White is simply a small latte. It isn't. The attempt here was too milky, too weak and completely devoid of microfoam. The breakfast was mostly OK but the use of tinned tomatoes was a disappointment especially as it resulted in the rest of the items sitting in the juice from them. Soggy hash browns are never the best. Service was very good. Not really recommended.

I ordered a large breakfast that was as delicious as it was well-described. It was a satisfying plate filled with all the breakfast essentials. I can't praise this place enough. The staff is fantastic and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I only wish I lived in Skipton.
