We stayed at the hotel one night and had the tasting menu, which was just delicious! Each course was just the right portion (I actually could not eat it all but my husband bravely pushed through!

This place is perfect if you want to relax and dine in a top quality restaurant overlooking the hills of Alta Langa. Rooms comfortable and clean with a lovely view, the cuisine is just phenomenal and the property owner is passionate about his restaurant as you can see on the dishes and dining tables arranged with exceptional attention to details. The place is classy and at the same time cosy and familiar. I spent two days one of which I have been working my shift remotely, with the benefit of an unbelievable lunch break overlooking the the hills and the other day which I had off, I visited the nearby Lange towns, some very nice sightseeing to do only 20-25 minutes drive from da Maurizio through the wineyards and hazelnut trees. Recommended if you want to have a real Italian cuisine experience and explore the area (Alta Langa).

Came and stayed also at the hotel. We all had the tasting menu and found that portion were somewhat small and the individual menu items were not well composed. For instance got something which I assume to have been polenta with the main course (secondo piatti meat) and the polenta tasted nothing short of dessert. Would only recommend if there is no other choice available.

Excellent food, clean and well maintained, very courteous staff.

Great dishes. Try the soft brick to the hazelnuts! very kind and attentive staff to the norms of ancient times.
