Contribuiți la feedbackWe placed an order for the General Tso's combo, the pork chop rice plate, two brown sugar teas, and a Dim Sum appetizer featuring roast pork buns. The food arrived on time and was hot, but that’s where the positives end. The pork chops were just okay—they were thin, soggy, and crammed into the foam container. My husband said they weren’t bad in terms of taste, but I wasn’t impressed. The pork buns were fine, but I immediately recognized them as the frozen ones I often get from the Asian market. While that’s not necessarily a problem, the price for just two buns was too high. The iced milk teas were decent, but a bit weak. Then, we got to the General Tso's combo. As soon as I opened the container, I was hit by a strong, off-putting odor—not quite spoiled, but definitely not fresh chicken. I can’t believe I actually tried a small piece. It was terrible. Unfortunately, I spent the rest of the evening suffering from a terrible stomachache and nausea. I consider myself lucky that I didn't eat more, as I’m fairly certain I would have faced food poisoning. On a positive note, the fried rice was quite tasty, but I couldn’t enjoy it because of the lingering smell from the chicken. I urge others to heed my warning—we spent over $50 and all I got in return was a night of severe stomach pain.
I had dim sum here during dinner, and the restaurant was lovely. The pork soup dumplings and crystal shrimp dumplings were among the tastiest dishes I've ever tried—truly special! The roast pork buns were also excellent. They prepare a great Thai milk tea as well. I will definitely be coming back!
I recently relocated to Rhode Island from San Francisco, where I often enjoyed some fantastic Chinese restaurants. When I moved here, my main craving was for good fried rice. After trying what were supposedly the best spots multiple times and being disappointed, I had almost given up hope. Then I discovered Yummy Cafe. Their fried rice is light, fluffy, and not overly saturated with soy sauce, which I really appreciate. Additionally, their dim sum was a treat. The owner mentioned that if you're looking for a specific dish that’s more traditional, you can just ask, as they’re likely able to prepare it. Overall, my experience made me feel a bit more at home and I was thrilled to enjoy those wonderful flavors again!
Terrible. Ordered deliver the shrimp dumplings did not come with sauce (on purpose) and the tofu I ordered tasted awful fake disgusting and like prepackaged sauce was poured into the pan and then they tossed sesame on top. no veggies at all. and did not ome with rice (on purpose). Literal waste of money as I didnt eat any of the food and was frustrated as heck because the dumplings looked fine but were not good without sauce. I just really dont understand.
Went today, ordered some dim sum items and some other items like fried rice a stir fry. When we got the crystal shrimp dumpling, the shrimp inside was raw/blue colored so we showed the lady she had it sent back. Later on, our pork ribs came out again it was also raw. We did not bother telling them again because clearly they didn't care seeing that we told them about 1 item being raw then they didn't think to double check the remaining items that they brought out after? Half of our shumai was raw, the other was fine. We also had a milk tea with boba it had some awkward perfume taste to it, wasn't drinkable. So we pretty much couldn't eat 40% of the stuff that we ordered. Chicken feet had a weird taste to it and was very dry. It almost was a freezer burn taste. Was really hoping to find a great dim sum place in the area but this was not it.
