Additionally, it’s not clear at all which restaurant the bar is associated with. The bartender didn’t even offer a food menu, leading me to believe it was a community bar. The sign in front is very small and the lettering is hard to read. I also overheard her speaking to a customer about someone sitting in the wrong section near the bagel shop. When the customer asked if she would serve them, the bartender replied, “No, you’re not in the right section.” Clearly, I'm not the only one who finds the bar's affiliation ambiguous, especially since the entrance to the restaurant is around the side of the building. While I understand that misunderstandings happen, there was a significant lack of courtesy and respect in her interactions. Perhaps some clear delineation is needed because, as someone who had never been to that outdoor bar before, I had no idea it belonged to a specific restaurant.
This used to be a lively spot, but when I visited, it was empty except for the waitress and the bartender. I think it can be hit or miss. The place was clean and reputable, and the bartender was very nice. If they have a small band performing, they usually book a really good one.
Lovely. Dinner with Ma on a Friday night. Live music at the bar. Server was very friendly. Service was quick. Cute little bistro in Pawtuxet Village. I had Burrata Ravioli with steak. Ma had baked cod. Will go again.
Good food service, great drinks, nice location, very clean.
