El Taconazo - Cranston

I had an amazing meal! I tried a sausage pambazo, a pastor sope, and a chicken huarache, and all three dishes were outstanding. The flavors were fantastic and blended well together. The spicy chicken was particularly delicious. On a scale of 0 to 10, I would give it a 9.1.

I've been a fan of this restaurant since the owner first opened on Valley St. The food is fantastic and priced just right; you won’t be disappointed! The new location is wonderful as well. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Taconazo serves the best tacos in Rhode Island, without a doubt! The passion the lady puts into her cooking is evident in every bite. From the freshness of the ingredients to the handmade tortillas and delectable desserts, everything you order here will definitely impress you! Whether you go for the crispy beef tacos or, if you’re feeling adventurous, try the tacos de oreja, just sprinkle a little salt and lime on them, then add some hot sauce. You won't regret it!

You have got to try their Gorditas!!! Of the meat selections, I'm definitely partial to the al pastor. Tacos are really good too. It's a tiny hole in the wall and you'd better be able to order in a bit of Spanish (the woman who's always there is really nice but doesn't speak much English). Last time we ordered the nachos, and it was like 5 pounds of food. Amazing! The only thing I didn't like was the chicharonne tacos. The chicharrones weren't crunchy like I've had other places but instead were cooked down in some sort of sauce. Avoid those, get the chicken, beef, al pastor, etc.
