Last few times we have been there to dine, the food was very dry and bland. This last time we went, we wanted to eat our meal, then order ice cream for dessert. We were told that they ran out of ice cream. Literally, about 3 minutes later, an employee begins to empty out the ice cream machine into a bucket!! I told an employee that if they're going to lie to customers, at least wait till everyone is gone. Needless to say, I will no longer spend my money at a place that has lazy workers, bad management, bad ownership, and bad food.

I've visited this Dairy Queen several times, and when they updated the menus and introduced new Coke machines, I thought it would improve. However, the food was disappointing. The burger patties were overcooked, and the chicken strips tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a while. I even tried the ice cream, but unfortunately, that wasn't great either. The dip cone I ordered looked unappetizing and was, quite frankly, the saddest dip cone I've ever had. I believe part of the problem with the food quality stems from the service. The employees seemed indifferent and uninterested. If you're looking for a good Dairy Queen experience, I recommend driving 30 miles north to the one in Odessa, where you'll find both great food and service. I've given this Dairy Queen multiple chances, but nothing ever changes.
