Down from South. Been up to Newcastle last 3 days. Found this delightful pub. Food very good. Staff very friendly. Felt comfortable in my surroundings. Good mixture of age groups. Recommend.

We booked The Blagdon after my mother-in-law's funeral yesterday. The room was impeccably clean, and the bar staff were friendly. The buffet they provided was outstanding—truly impressive. When it became clear that there would be a lot of leftovers, they generously offered us boxes to take some home. The service was excellent, and we would definitely use their services again (hopefully under happier circumstances next time). A heartfelt thank you from the Rutherford family to The Blagdon Arms.
