Contribuiți la feedbackI was in the gaming on the 27th June and won $2.5k on the pokies which was all good until I get told I can 't have my money because they have no cheques available and to to come back tomorrow 28th June to collect funds gaming person very apologetic which I was fine with. I come on the 28th thinking i 'll be able to collect my winnings as it was promised the previous day but now I get a Manager who tells me i am not sure when it is coming in and says no one can enter the banks due to Covid which is a complete lie. My response to that was if I went to the bar or into the bistro ordered food and said at the end of it I don 't have money at the moment ill give you it when i receive it in a couple of days . he asked what is my point with that? I said I would get done for theft/stealing. I would of been completely fine with this if we knew will playing on the machines (signage) or staff informing patrons saying this is the ccase rather then giving misinformation and laughing it off and shipping the blame onto my self. Great form Highlands
First time for my wife I, but our kids (grown-ups) live in a nearby estate up here recommended this place for dinner. Wow, what a surprise. First impressions, very modern new complex. Immaculately clean inside out.Plenty of parking in close proximity to the hotel. Next is the staff, very professionally presented extremely well mannered friendly. Inside is very spacious you really don 't feel that you are crammed in next to the table next to you. There is a good bar which sells everything you could drink also a chill out lounge for just kicking back relaxing. The buffet food was well cooked, plenty of it well looked after. You can see that people just take what they need it is not messed up etc. There is a good range that would suit just about everyone. The waiters come around frequently to remove the old plates etc the tables are always cleaned. Well done to the management staff of this venue. We 'll certainly be back
Went for dinner at the Highlands Hotel in Craigieburn on the 29/02/2020 for dinner at 7.30pm. We had a large group of 25. we got some food to eat and had our grand baby with us. As she only will eat chicken nuggets and chips then that what we served her. After her 3rd nugget i noticed something odd, it was PINK in the middle. I asked to speak to management and a manager and the chef were sent to the table, on showing them the nugget, they took it from me but not before i took a photo of it. I was told by the chef that it was normal and this was a blood line, after googling the problem i found that yes it was a blood line and the nuggets had not been cooked long enough. The chef left, as did the manager or as i was told, she was a manager. i could see her pointing and laughing with other staff not far from us. On leaving i asked to see the manager again, this time the chef and another woman named Valentina came out from the office. when i said that we were told the other woman was a manager, i was told that there were no restaurant managers on as they have lives and families and would not be on till Monday. We were handed a business card and told to email Monday about our concerns. Looking to my right i could also see the security guard laughing at our distress. When asked what they could do to fix what was going on, i told them that they could give my daughter and son in law a refund, (not the whole group) and i was told that was not an option.
Now when I was told that this was a buffet, I was expecting low quality food. From the moment I walked in the door, it looks really fancy. Marble floors, beautiful fireplaces, all of the furniture and fittin well as all of the usual salad selections. One of the standout dishes at the buffet was the calamari. I'm not always the biggest fan of calamari, especially deep fried calamari. This was real Calamari coated in herbs and spices, as well as a bit of lemon juice, and it was the most perfect calamari I have ever had in my life. I did try a fair few of the dishes, and some of them were average while others were quite nice. There is also a dessert bar with ice cream and lots of different cakes and puddings, which werent bad. They do also sell barista coffee here, or which was quite nice. It was my husband's birthday, and I had asked for a lighter to light some candles, and this was no problem for staff. All in all staff were quite attentive, and provided quick service
Usually buffets sacrifice quality for the quantity. Here the food is quite nice, and the deserts are always varied and delicious.
