Afternoon Tea At Newforge House

Limited menu but every course locally sourced and beautifully cooked. Mainly couples dining but will do a table for four.

Wonderful stay, beautiful house and garden, the service was next to none and so friendly. Food was next level.

What a pleasure to stay here. John and his team are so welcoming, the food is absolutely amazing , especially the brown bread, the room was beautiful and huge with an equally large unsuite. Both rooms had big windows overlooking the gardens. There is no conventional hotel bar as such instead a very extensive and very reasonably priced drinks selection is served in the drawing room/front parlour before dinner at 8pm. Breakfast is probably the best I've ever eaten. Thank you all so much.

Just had our second stay at Newforge, which was as as great as the first. Lovely house, staff, grounds and great food from John. We highly recommend.

Beautiful house with wonderful relaxing atmosphere and superb rooms. The food, especially at dinner is outstanding, and all staff are lovely and provide a top class service.
