Alberto's Cheese And Wine Bistro

The muffulletta was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Definitely spend the extra few dollars and get a 1/2 rather than the 1/4. Make no mistake, the service by both people that were working was less than friendly but the sandwich is so delicious I would hate for someone to miss out because of that. I just turned on the “saccharine sweet” to over compensate for their rude.

Awesome muffaletta!! Central Grocery was closed so I tried Alberto's and it did not disappoint! So good!

Gluten Free Muffuletta was incredible. Gluten free bread is rarely something to write home about so this was a wonderful surprise. If I hadn't discovered this on my last day in NOLA, I would have had it every day! They were busy and it was a 30 minute wait for the food, but it was 100% worth it.

Tried the muffelata, every bit as good (or better if you like a warmed sandwich) then the other local popular spot!

Don't come here for the friendly service, just the delicious food. It's a little off-putting to not be acknowledged when standing in front of a shop owner, ready to order, as she says good morning to a random person passing by. Weird. But the food is as advertised, tasty and fresh.
