Las Tortugas - COZUMEL

We booked a last trip in cozumel through the shore excursion group instead of through our cruise line. we ended up with tortugas with paco (francisco) as tour guide and it was an amazing experience! there were only two of us with paco that gave us. a private tour, and we need to see a private beach called san martin, a tequila tasting and snorkeling at the location tortugas. in the restaurant tortugas we also have a delicious steak-fajitas menu. paco was extremely knowledgeable about the island and could answer any question we had about the opposite. would recommend anyone looking for adventure and culture in cozumel!

This was the first and last stop on our Jeep tour of the island. We stopped in the morning to spend about 45 minutes snorkeling. It is a nice place with lots of friendly fish who seem to enjoy swimming with you. It is fairly...easy access via the metal ramp. In the afternoon, we had a delicious lunch there. One of us had the chicken quesadilla and the other chicken fajita. Of course we share so I can honestly say both were just terrific. This is a welcoming and fun place to eat and snorkel. There are changing rooms and a few local folks selling souvenirs (OK, one small pharmacy as well). Of note, you can purchase black coral jewelry here for a fair price.

We got a taxi here from our cruise. Only a few minutes along the coast to get here, and for one price, we got loungers and snorkel gear. Those in our group who snorkeled got to see a bunch of fish in the clear water....Nice sandy spot to sit on the loungers watching the waves, but it’s really not much of a beach, mostly rocky along the coastline there. The foo and drink wasn’t too expensive. We did order the big drinks, but it didn’t taste like there was much alcohol in them, so I wouldn’t bother getting them again.

This place is great! eating and drinks are amazing, they have a dj playing good music all day. the water is crystal clear. we also made the snorkel tour with carlos and I would make it back in a heartbeat. he made you feel everything explained, brought us to two snorkeling places, and the third place was a flat water, where we just hang around and he served us drinks and whip off the boat! so happy we did it and I will snorkel again with carlos when in cozumel.

We had such a PHENOMENAL experience on my first ATV adventure with enrique ferrari aguilar! he made us safe and safe with his presence together with the introduction of our expectations, clear answer and such a positive attitude! we want to rent definitiw...him again on our next cozumel holiday.
