La Terrace - COZUMEL

I don't eat here often, but a good friend really likes their lobster so I went with friends recently. The portions are quite large, so two of us shared a salad and then shared an order of lasagna. The Caesar salad was good, but not great, but I did really enjoy the lasagna. Even though we shared the lasagna, I still ended up taking some home and had it for dinner the next night. Their selection of desserts all sounded wonderful, and I opted for the bread pudding with rum sauce. It was fantastic! I don't know if she makes different desserts each night, but if they have this when you are there, give it a try. The serving of that dessert was huge, so I took part of that home too! Even after sharing, I ended up with dinner for 2 nights.

The service is fantastic, and Shannon is a great host. Food has always been really great, I love the seafood pasta "The Combo", my wife's crab stuffed shrimp was really good. The chicken parm was also very good. For dessert the key lime pie was probably the best I have ever had.Have been there once or twice on each of the last several trips to the island, we will be back again.

We were walking around looking for a neat little restaurant to eat at. Just south of the main square we looked up and saw this neat little place. It is on the top floor overlooking some shops. It was a great place to sit back and people watch. I had the calamari and my hubby had the chicken broccoli fettuccine. Both were AMAZING! The best pasta dish we have ever tried! We ordered a half order of the fettuccine and it was a good size! I would recommend this place to anyone! Staff are simply amazing! Prices were pretty good! Very good quality food! We will be bringing our daughter here in a few weeks. Oh, and their home made pies are to die for!!!! Mmmmmmm

If you like seafood and Italian food this is the place to go. Their fresh catch of the day was prepared very well and was very tasty. They purchase their produce and fish every day. The kitchen and restaurant are clean and inviting. The friendly service from the couple who owns the restaurant as well as the wait- and cooking staff was a welcoming touch. We special-ordered a dish, and the owners and executive chef were happy to accommodate us. Further, the view from the outside dining was great. We ate there on our first day and the last day on the island. Also note that the owners are from the States, so there are no issues with those who do not speak Spanish. We highly recommend this establishment and look forward to our annual visit with them again next year. On occasion, they provide a live Mexican duo to perform. Everything about this restaurant was exceptional.

The food used to be great but the service and quality has gone down hill lately they need to step up their game if they want to survive in the Restaurant business in Cozumel.
