Islander Cozumel

Visited the islander twice during our recent visit to Cozumel and again we enjoyed our stops. Great little breakfast menu and the fruit drinks are amazing. Conveniently located directly behind chudaris grocery store. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

The Mayan coffee and the fruit juices are amazing. While breakfast and lunch have always been their specialty, we happened to arrive the week (July 4, 2022) that they expanded their hours to serve dinner and drinks. Because they hadn't advertised their extended hours, we had the place to ourselves and got to know the staff. Over the course of the week, we've stopped in at various times for coffee, breakfast, drinks, and dinner. Everyone is so friendly and we've been welcomed as neighbors not just tourists. Estéfano takes personal pride in making fantastic cocktails. Looking forward to another couple months of visits.

We went to the Islander for breakfast on the strength of the favorable TripAdvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. The omelets were terrific the ingredients were so fresh that they must have grown them out back. The outdoor dining with unusual decor provided a lovely ambience. The fresh squeezed fruit juice mixtures must be a specialty of sorts delicious, and served in in big hand crafted goblets with sea shells.

This was a wonderful place for breakfast! Very busy. We waited a bit for a table. Great coffee and food. Service was great. Food came out quickly. Would definitely return.
