It was exciting was it going to by NY style Chinese or West Coast or neither as the chef may have come here straight from China. The food was awesome like the old school Chinese I remember as a kid not the stuff they serve now in florida. It was great to get vegetables in Mexico for a change. Beef and broccoli with carrots was good, the pork fried rice was great, the wontons in the won ton soup were nice and thin not doughy. The lettuce wraps were also a good choice. We loved this place
Disgusting, overpriced food. The waitress pulled a face when I ordered the chicken and sweetcorn soup. When she served it, I understood why. The meat was definitely not chicken. It seemed like frog legs or rat. I showed the meat to the manager and she made a big speech about how they marinate the chicken. It was tough yet porous, and did not taste or look like chicken. Possibly iguana. The rest of the food was bland and all of it was way too expensive considering the low quality. I noticed that we are not the first reviewer to point out that their chicken is not chicken. Avoid!
This place has a very wide menu at a normal pricing, WiFi service is very good, the option to recharge your devices and call the personal just right on your table. They also provide a small smoking area and alcohol drinks.
If you crave for Asian food this is a great place. Located on the 2nd floor above Pizza Hut. 5 minutes walk of the port of Punta Langosta. Fresh fish are available and you can ask them to cook how you want it. Sometimes I do crave Asian food and I don't go to any other place here in Cozumel. Plenty of staff though serving time takes time probably they only have 2 cooks. It's get busy on lunch time. As per the food it's feels like home. So yah check it out.
It's been two years since we went to the Chi Restaurant located at Puerto Maya (south end of Cozumel), and we were happy to see that it was open. This is an unpretentious restaurant that primarily caters to the largely Asian population that work onboard the visiting cruise ships, with free wifi and computer plugins dangling from the ceiling. Waiting staff are generally adequately capable in speaking English to those of us whose Spanish is lacking. Chi's menu offers primarily Asian cuisine (Chinese, Thai, Filipino, Laotian, etc) and is widely varied. We love it, and it was well worth the wait to try it again. Our favourites include zingy Szechuan chicken hearts/gizzards (trust me, you'll love them), spicy chicken lettuce wraps, Singapore Noodles (fantastic, with healthy chunks of BBQ pork and large shrimp), and General Tao's Chicken (tender, not overcooked as it often is). There are tons of other far more exotic items to try on the menu. Despite being busy, we've never had trouble getting a seat (there are 2 floors). Our experience has been that the service has always been fairly quick, despite how packed it may be. Drink and food prices are very reasonable. My only criticism is that the Puerto Maya location is only open when there are cruise ships in port, and it usually closes early (4 PM/16h00). Still, I highly recommend it! It is really good.
