Given the size of the group there was a variety of food that we had and all of it was excellent and good value. Coffee is big city quality. If you were a local you probably know of the place but if travelling through it may not be obvious to find but well worth the effort with a nice seating area outside and carpark behind. Enjoy !
We were only staying one night and got a recommendation for dinner.Off the main street but easy to find - a relaxed atmosphere with a lovely meal at a great price. We enjoyed it that much we came back for breakfast and again had a great meal with very good coffee .Highly recommended
My wife and our daughter and I ate here for breakfast on a rainy Monday.. Convenient parking at the rear made the rain a minor inconvenience. The young wait staff were friendly and efficient. The bacon and egg rolls, with hash brown and mug size coffe for $10 was a real bargain. Our vegetarian daughter loved the Rogue breakfast with avocado etc. Very pleasant environment and good service. A good addition to a town with limited dining choices.
We have eaten at this restaurant/cafe on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Their coffee is excellent. The cafe food is excellent and good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there also. Their salt & pepper squid is some of the best I've eaten. They advertise "fresh fish" on the menu and "fresh fish" is what we got. Beautifully and simply cooked and just delicious. The pork belly was also delicious. We went home satisfied and promising ourselves we'd be back to try the rest of the menu!! Well done Rogue Cafe/Restaurant. You fill a much needed gap in this town. FYI, the setting is perfect for summer dining!! FIVE STARS!!
My wife and I have visited Rogue Carriage for lunch on many occasions and decided to try their dinner menu. We were very happy that we did. We both started off with a salt and pepper quid salad that was exquisite. The squid was tender and crispy on the outside. Cooked beautifully and tossed in a heaping stack of julienned veg. For mains my wife had pork billy that was tender and tasty on a lovely mash. I opted for fresh, wild caught barramundi. It was as advertised. Fresh, moist and cooked to perfection. This was served on a delightful ratatouille. We were both impressed with not only the quality of food, the presentation and the service. Too full for desserts I moaned as the server walked by on her way to the table with a smashed lemon meringue pie. That will have to wait until next time as we will be back.
