Euphoria Gallery Cafe - Cowes

Not sure about the other reviews, but my big breakfast and latte I had here on Monday was good! My latte strong the way I like it and big breakfast good value at 14.95 and filling. I'll happily go back next time I'm down at the Island. Service was fine.

After arriving in Cowes and waiting for more people to arrive, I sat down at the Euphoria Gallery Cafe for a coffee. I was happy with the quality of my coffee and as a Melbourne coffee 'snob' this means a lot. Decor was quite poor and our table very wobbly, so i would not have liked to have a meal there. Also dogs were allowed and I am not keen on that. Great coffee though!

Came with a group of 7 for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Probably around 15 people in the cafe all up, 3 staff working from what we could see.First of all, if you appreciate a steak sandwich as I do, don't order one from here. Extremely thin piece of 'steak' which resembled a piece of jerky, was tough and cold. The bread was unbuttered, the bacon looked crispy but was oily and soggy, the eggs were extremely overcooked. No relish or sauces on the sandwich and the whole thing was cold. Disappointing and disgusting.Another in our group ordered nachos. Cold bowl of corn chips with sweet chilli sauce and microwaved melted cheese.Pancakes looked good, but unfortunately took 50minutes to come out of the kitchen.Certainly wouldn't be going back. New owners of this once great cafe have some work to do!

My friend and I attended the Cafe for coffee and some light breakfast. My friends latte was half milk half froth Her toast was completely uncooked. We had to send it back, where they toasted the same bread, turned the buttered side over and gave it back. I irdered French Toast with Maple Syrup. That was also completely uncooked and soggy. I asked that it be cooked and the waitress' response was "Oh some people prefer it like that". I dont really think people like raw egg on an uncooked piece of bread. Anyway they recooked the same toast and gave it back. Still soggy but at least a bit brown. I ate a few mouthfuls and left the rest. I definitely wont be returning :(

Bitter horrid coffee. French toast that had chunks of egg. Soggy, revolting raisin toast. Wish I'd read the reviews on here before we went. Was the only place open early. Staff were not even nice!
