Resto D'L'estrie - Cowansville

It's my favorite for fast lunches and dinners late in the evening. suitable for family, business or friends. interesting outdoor terrace in a rather noisy site.

Visiting cowansville, we were two couples to go to dinner at this restaurant. Clean, well-appointed with a large terrace, the restaurant in the Estrie will allow us to have a good meal at an affordable price and in a pleasant atmosphere. the menu offers dishes for all tastes and prices. here we don't do in the end kitchen but in the one that pleases everyone. Me and others enjoyed our respective choices. our waitress, a pretty, energetic and nice young woman will have advised us well and she has been very careful to note my severe allergy to seafood and molluscs. The wine, beer and beverages map is well matched and does the work well, as we say today...I recommend this establishment when you go to the Québec area or even better if you are not too far from cowansville. There is also a delivery service at this restaurant.

We decided to give this place a try...it's a somewhat new place in town. A former restaurant (Terrace du Sud) had been in this location for years...it closed and reopened as this place....so we gave it a shot. First impression - the decor is better. The menu is similar. Pizza, pasta, deli, Chinese, grill etc.The temperature in the place was too cold for comfort...I wanted to keep my jacket on. Our waitress Manon was friendly enough but made no effort to even try to speak English even though she heard our conversation amongst ourselves. We ordered a half litre of red wine that was super cold....any decent restaurant owner should know that red wine is not to be chilled. We tried to warm our glasses with our hands...One person in our party ordered the veggie canzone...it was tasty and the fries were really good. The other person ordered the smoked meat platter....disappointing....very little smoked meat and we are sure it was the kind that comes in a frozen pouch...not carved fresh like the former restaurant on these premises. The music playing in the place was loud and upbeat....not great if you want a relaxing dinner.I really wanted to like this place...but I don't. I won't go back.

All the decoration has been made these really beautiful. Food is very varied from Italian, Chinese and Quebec food. The service is pleasant and fast.See by yourself you will judge if you like it.

We are accustomed now and we have tried several dishes announced in the menu and we have enjoyed it well...Menu of the day and interesting bed and breakfast table, reasonable price....Jamais was deécu de la qualité de la cuisine jusqu'a ce jour...This is not high gastronomy but for a pleasant meal it is a place to attend.
