Rimas Diner - Covington

Where do I begin? We ordered pork chops, fried chicken, and salad, and everything was incredible! I'm not sure how they managed to create such delicious dishes. The waitress recommended these choices since it was our first visit, and we were not let down at all. The service was quick, which allowed us to take our time enjoying the atmosphere, taking pictures, and chatting. It's a wonderful place to connect with others, and the prices are very reasonable. This is truly one of the best restaurants in Covington. I highly recommend the fried chicken; the flavor is unmatched by anything I’ve ever tasted.

We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The staff was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the fried catfish, and it certainly did not disappoint. Be sure to leave some space for dessert, as the homemade cakes are truly delicious!

My meal arrived in no time. When the waitress set down a large, circular white plate in front of me, I thought, "There’s no way I can finish all this." Typically, I leave food on my plate, but this time, I cleaned it up! The Parmesan Chicken was juicy and thick, with a perfectly browned crust that was well-seasoned yet not greasy and easy to enjoy. The flavors of garlic and other spices were absolutely delightful. It was so delicious that, later that evening, I regretted finishing every last bite. I cannot wait to return to this gem to sample more items from the menu. The waitress was sweet and attentive, and I also had the opportunity to chat with the owner. During our brief conversation, it was evident that she is a genuinely wonderful person, both inside and out. Her passion for her customers and her business shone through. The image of that charming elderly man, radiating joy and fond memories while savoring good conversation and excellent food, was priceless. This is truly a place that feeds the soul!

We have lived in this area for two years, searching for a good place to eat, and I can't understand why we hadn't tried this restaurant sooner! From the ambiance to the food and the staff, it stands out as one of the best diners I've ever visited. We've dined at many restaurants in various locations, and Rima's will definitely become one of our new favorite spots!

The service was excellent, with really friendly staff! I ordered the cod, which was cooked to perfection. However, I found the breading to be excessively crispy and completely lacking in flavor. I had to resort to using ketchup (which I didn't enjoy) just to add some taste. On the other hand, the green beans were fantastic, and the fried potatoes with onions were a deliciously crispy treat.
