When I ordered, I had sticker shock that a large hot coffee was nearly $4. Then I was further shocked when I was handed an empty cup and had to fill my own beverage. Near the end of my drink I swallowed an entire mouthful of coffee grinds that nearly made me vomit. It wasn't the experience I was expecting. Stars given solely in support of its cause. Zero stars for the quality of my experience.
It was a Redlegs sort of morning. That is a specialty latte here at the Point Perk Coffee shop. It has Mexican, vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel. We got it with oat milk. Despite all the flavors, the sweetness did not overwhelm the delicious espresso. They have seating both inside and out. I love the indoor seating because there is a big sliding garage door that opens up to the outside. Plenty of tables and comfortable seating. Nice place to sit and work for a bit. Wheelchair accessibility: No stair entrance.
What a great experience! We stopped in on a whim for some coffee. They have specials and a variety of delicious coffee. It's the best coffee I've had in a while. Thank you for the great experience! They also have space to sit and work. It's a non-profit that helps people learn job skills.
It's coffee with a cause, what's not to love. Also they made the best dirty chai I've had in ages.
Inviting and I spent the time I wanted to spend there
