K's Fish N Grits - Covington

The Salmon was salty, super salty smh. The grits were salty buttery, the customer service was salty. The salmon tasted a little old it was small. It seems like a hood environment, which is not a problem. But let your service be that way. Nevertheless I will not be back ??‍

DELICIOUS!!!! We came near closing so we assumed that that may be why we didn't get the most friendly reception, but it was our 1st time so we weren't aware that they closed at 3. It was a short wait time after ordering and the food was just what I needed in my life that day. I had a craving for some good fried fish and we randomly picked this place and glad about it! The fried salmon, fried whiting, and fried flounder was AWESOME! It was seasoned to perfection and all of the sides (fried broccoli, regular broccoli, Cole slaw, rice, corn on cob)were delicious too . I had not ever had fried broccoli, it was oh so good. My honey and I woke up the next day talking about how great K's food tasted. We will be back again for sure to try some other dishes on the menu.

I would give this establishment a negative zero star if I could. Hands down the most unprofessional restaurant I have ever been to in my life! Customer service was the absolute worst. The lady with a bonnet on her head at the counter was detached, barely opened her mouth to communicate —not welcoming or accommodating to our needs. She act as if she hated her job. WE WALKED OUT. I was so disappointed as I was eager to eat there, but not any more!! We wind up going to another restaurant and was treated with care, hospitality and excellent food!

I ordered chicken and waffles earlier this week and they were not fully cooked. It was two tiny pieces of chicken tender strips and soft waffles almost mushy. We called about the order and the lady was simply

After the NEW owners opened up they are open when they say they are and food is even better!! They catered my party and everyone loved it!! Desserts are soooooo good!
