Don’s Seafood Gonzales

The menu has a diversity if offerings. There is something in the menu for everyone.

We were visiting Covington for a friend's funeral. After a long 6 hour drive from Houston we ate dinner at Don's. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My husband and I split the catfish dinner and had some left over to take back to our hotel which we ate for lunch the next day. My Blood Orange Margarita was outstanding! I wish I could remember our server's name, because she was just delightful. She always had a huge smile on her face and was very attentive. I don't know when we will visit the area again, but if we do we will definitely eat there again!

The service was excellent. Blackened redfish was tasty.

Overall good and I would visit again when in the area. We waiting a while for our food to come out. Many tables that came well after us got apps and food well before us and the waitress didn’t acknowledge the wait. I know staffing is still an issue but oh well. I was super excited they had fresh king cakes available for purchase.
