They came to a fast start. I have a number of intolerances to check them if they could take care of me. They did not answer and when I called it seemed insecure about the content of their dishes, but it turned out that the court I was hoping for was suitable and the waitress showed me the package, so I felt confident my meal was ok at the end. The meal itself was typical English food. Very hearty and full, but very beautiful. The place is heavily on vegan substitute food, but the meal was nice. Their desserts are also strong, especially the chocolate cheese cake. I had the crumb that could have been a little sweeter, but the cheese cake was there. Overall, it would definitely go back.
I've been a lot. There is a lot of choice for vegan and with high-quality meals.
This is a characterful and popular restaurant with simple but beautiful decor. Vegan dishes are considered as vg (vegan) or vgo (can be adapted to a vegan option). My son had a Cajun burger accompanied by Coleslaw and thin frits, my mother and I had vegan herbal sausages with green beans and a beautiful buttery tasting Maische plus onions (with sauteed onions, not overwhelming). All dishes were well cooked and we were offered extra Gravy if we wanted. We also have extra vegan garlic Mayo. The food was delicious and service very friendly and attentive. If your birthday is a week either side of the actual birthday, then your meal is free (with ID as proof of the date). Love this place!
I had a three-course vegan meal with a wide variety of options to choose from at this restaurant. The food was delicious, particularly the spicy bean burger and onion rings. I plan to return soon to try the fajitas. The atmosphere was really pleasant, although there weren't many tables so it's a good idea to call ahead and reserve a spot.
