Panjabi Hut Coventry

I've been here a few times now and here's what I think; The food is on the whole genuine Indian (desi) food. I've tried a fair few dishes on the menu and have no reason to grumble. They not only serve Indian food but you can also get pizzas chips etc too. My only small moan, would be that the interior could do with a little updating but otherwise it's definitely not a bad place at all for a reasonably priced meal.

Plenty of vegan options here and a venue recommended by Coventry Vegans. I first made a call asking about the veggie burgers and I was told that they could make them vegan, so we ordered two vegan burgers and chips. When we arrived we discovered a little aladdins cave! Lots of fresh, chilled and hot vegan options available at REALLY GOOD prices. A venue we will definitely be returning to!! Thank you! Five-stars for being so vegan friendly!

After reading previous reviews I was a little unsure of visiting this place but after looking at their menu and it definitely seemed like the kind of food I love to eat. Myself and my husband had a meal here last week and I must say food was beyond my expectations. We opted you Aloo Tikki, gol gappe for starters, followed by Aloo Paratha, Boondi Raita and Two Thalis containing Daal, Aloo Gobhi, yogurt and two rotis. Food was so delicious we decided to also have take away and their Barfi made exclusively with Buffalo Milk. Even though I am not big fan of Indian Sweets, I absolutely loved this plain Barfi. Our bill only came to £33 This place is more like a cafe. You have to order food on the till and they serve it on table. As it's only small family run business they don't have front of house staff. Which means they can keep the cost of food very low. Owners were very friendly people. They made us feel very welcome. This place may not be done up in very fancy way. But if you want delicious home cooked food I would definitely recommend this place. These guys definitely deserve 5 stars for quality of food.

Disappointed! Ordered a vegan pizza when my pizza came it was clear the pizza had not been made fresh!! It was warm and not like it had just come out of an oven. Bought this twice now and the same on both occasions? Why do you pre cook your pizzas and then just warm them up when people order. Great list of vegan options just upsetting they don't do them fresh as you have a great selection for vegans!
