Mister Butts Bbq - Courtland

I decided to try Mr. Butts for catering for a rehearsal dinner I organized in Grayson. I spoke to Nita, who recommended ordering enough food for 40 people even though I only needed it for 30-35. I was unsure about portion sizes and ended up with way more food than needed, at a cost of $538.41. The quality of the food was average, with some items like chicken breast and bratwurst being dry. Despite the oversell, Nita refused to give a refund and claimed I had ordered 50 meals, even though my guest list was for 35. Overall, I felt disappointed with the experience and realized I could have spent less at a different BBQ restaurant.

Do not rely on Mr. Butts for artistic endeavors, as they may not meet expectations. However, Mr. Butts was a highly recommended choice for a rehearsal I recently attended and it turned out to be a fantastic experience.

Being unfamiliar with catering, I trusted her judgment and requested a package with meats and sides for 40 people. On the day of the event, I was shown roast and brisket portions that were much more than needed, causing significant food waste. I paid $538.41 for the catering, only to later discover that I could have fed the same number of guests for a much lower cost at a local BBQ restaurant. Additionally, the chicken breasts and brisket were dry. Despite Nita's promise of a refund, she later denied it and falsely claimed I had ordered food for 50 people. Overall, I feel I was overcharged and misled by Mr. Butts' catering services.
