Goodfella's Pizzeria - Courtice

The pizza at this restaurant is excellent. It would be great if they opened a location in the north end of Oshawa. The service was friendly and efficient. The new owner has really improved the atmosphere of the shop.

This pizza place in the area is pretty decent. It offers good and unique pizzas without overdoing it. It has a timeless feel, but could benefit from a more modern touch. They seem to be coasting along, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I would be happier if they tried more experimentation while maintaining the same quality.

The Greek salad at this restaurant was amazing, but unfortunately, the pizza was not up to par. The crust was sweet and chewy, the pepperoni was too big and gross, and the boneless chicken wings were tasteless. The Family combo I ordered did not allow for substitutions, and I was not able to customize my toppings as I wanted. The 2L pop included in the combo was room temperature, and when I asked for a cold one, I was told they didn't have any. The fridge only had cans and small bottles. Overall, I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. It's surprising that they have managed to stay in business. Those who give it high ratings must have never had good pizza or service before.

This pizza is delicious. I've ordered it quite often since moving to Courtice in the fall of 2020. The toppings are plentiful, price is great and overall taste is consistent each time.

Having grown up in Niagara Falls, it was the norm to have 'pizzerias ' on every corner of the city, great food. Once I moved, I noticed pretty quickly that pizzerias are pretty much non-existent outside of the Niagara area. So you could imagine my excitement when I passed a place in Courtice called Goodfellas Pizzeria. Could this be? An actual pizzeria? Had to check it out... As soon as I walked in I was very optimistic. The place had a classic pizzeria atmosphere, complete with checkered table clothes, white walls, red/orange paint trim, big mirrors, open kitchen in the back, stone pizza oven, TV to watch the hockey games and more... It was a Friday night so we ordered the large pizza 3 item special. And when they say large, they mean LARGE, like the old pizzeria days. Pizza was great, I was not disappointed. The crust was excellent, great flavour. Between the food and the atmosphere it was a great experience. The only cons I saw were that they used a very strong pepperoni which slightly overpowered the pizza a bit, but that 's just me. Also they have chicken wings, but they only offered baked, which is fine but I prefer deep fried. Otherwise Goodfellas is awesome, definitely worth a try and I plan on going back soon!!!
